Not sure if it's suitable for your needs but if you like Ninja then I couldn't recommend Multicharts enough. In my opinion it is superior to Ninja and support is good. Worth a look at least as they now supply a free version with support for 2 symbols.
I am at Mirus specifically because you recommended it on your site. I too was an MF Global sucker and when I went looking for a new broker/FCM, Mirus/RCG seemed to fit the bill. And it's been great all along so this is extremely disappointing. Like all of us, I have been patiently waiting for something, ANYTHING, to come out of them other than skimpy emails. They're blowing this big time. I *want* them to succeed and would wait out some growing pains of the new feed if they were at least meeting us clients in the middle with some sort of disclosure or more frequent updates. Sad that you can blow up your entire business in 3-4 days.
one thing I've learned in this profession: any company, no matter how big or solid looking, can falter (or worse) at any given time with greater speed than you can fathom. seeing many other traders with stranded (or worse) literal fortunes in the past taught me to keep the bare minimum necessary for trading in accounts, keep any excess in your own control, and diversify working capital across different clearing firms if possible.
I see many of you are unhappy and were affected the zenfire datafeed for the last couple of days. Like everyone, I was having some issues using Ninja with Zen, but I was fortunate my IB were able to switch me over to CQG Continuum and got me back on track. They have the multiple feeds that works with NinjaTrader. If anyone you are still having issues, checkout them, they might a solution for you. https://www.cannontrading.com/tools/support-resistance-levels/ Good luck everyone
The Zen-Fire issues continue beyond the point of many of its users patience, or hope for its recovery. Good thing is there are a number of firms out there that have robust data feed and execution solutions for NinjaTrader and other platforms. I agree with some of the posts I've read about the importance of spreading the risk among firms, if possible. ZenFire users who need quick alternatives to get back online with their trading might consider checking out Independent IBs such as FuturePath Trading or Manduca Trading, where they can spread the risk among different clearing firms yet have one point of contact to aid with the accounts.
We just released R19 of NinjaTrader which now includes our Rithmic adapter that can be used at any FCM offering Rithmic. http://www.ninjatrader.com/download-registration.php
