  3. Firsts often arrive late. Don't be badmouthing Leos!

    Quick story:

Some friends of my sis had their 3rd child on June 6, 1996 [no shit]. As luck would have it they're DEVOUT christians; named the child Conner xxxxxx xxxxxx... 6-6-6.

Sitting at a cocktail party and my sister introduces the parents and informs me that Conner was born on June 6th. They tell me his full-name as is customary. I blurt out, suffering from diarrhea-mouth, "Oh, interesting... 666, the number of the Beast." Room-full of 40 ppl goes dead-silent; mom runs out in tears.

    Sorry for the non sequitur.

  4. Risk, you should move over here. July 24 = state holiday. Fireworks, celebration, the whole bit. And for those who have a day job.... no work.

  6. They actually say 6-6-6 when they introduce the kid???? lol

No fear though risk, I would have been one of the few in the room laughing my ass off....

  7. They hadn't put it together that the child's first/mid/last name carried 6-letters each. Of course, can't do anything about the surname... but geebus. Woman still hates my ass.

I am convinced the kid is the antichrist. C'mon, 6/6/96 and the name!?

  10. Nope, no polygamy. Sorry. In fact, interesting little tidbit, to my knowledge Utah is the only state that prohibits polygamy in the state constitution. Requirement for statehood, and anyway mormons don't practice it anymore.
