Risk of licensed and then going retail

  1. if i become llicensed, what are the negatives if any? if i get licensed and open a retail account and i am asked if i am a professional,is that a problem?
also,if i get licensed to work at a prop shop,i still risk my own capital, correct? aside from many llc's now requiring a license, what changes for the trader? will the same firm a guy traded with and used his own 5k now be able to trade with no deposit?

  2. With your Series 7 registration you will be deemed a "professional" and the higher data-feed rates will apply.
    That much, I know.
