of course it is more than likely all nonsense to make light of a bad trade. but that is what he wants to imply anyway for entertainment value. lol

 

look at it like a business that needs raw products, you are making tires so you need rubber

you buy 500 tons of rubber for a fair price market of 2 million

someone offers you additional 1000 tons for 3 million and so on

as long as you are lowering your raw product cost it's a cost savings.

but when you look at it like a someone needing to pay the bills it makes no sense.
