  1. Hello Wide Tailz,

    Do you live in America?

  2. Looks like this one got away from ya, yeah?. No doubt it'll come back, but...

From another thread where you said charts are basically worthless:

    and you followed up with:

i'm a complicated person... charts are not worthless - endless hours of drawing "what if" lines into the future are worthless, in the sense the price is right there place a trade. what good is it to project if you can't trade what's there. now was the future.

it hearkens to these people that who are "chartered market technicians" all talk and no action...

  4. IMO, "what if lines" are what trading decisions are made off of. You claimed you only use one bar for your decisions. (HLOC and probably volume and maybe the cash/futures relationship).

Duh, trade what you see in front of you and what's happening in the now, and disregard your prior speculation.

Care to back peddle out of your "one bar" statement from earlier?

maybe if you were more clear about your angle of attack, i could be more clear with a direct answer.

my mainstay trading requires 1 bar look back of a 10 point kase range bar. am i to be chastised by normal minds who can not even master one way of trading let alone fathom the capable mind who can trade a plethora?

  6. I know you weren’t asking me and I’m only butting in, but I have a perspective to offer. Maybe not one you’ll like, @SimpleMeLike . Sorry in advance for that.

I think that with trading, people wanting to get rich within 1 year almost always fail: they’re closed to all the avenues that offer any realistic possibilities of getting rich within 10 years, which a few people really do manage to achieve (though almost none of them tried to do it in a year, or believed in that as a realistic possibility).

The outcome of being willing to give attention and energy only to “1-year-get-rich possibilities” is typically that people end up having something like the same one-year’s experience, frustration and disappointment repeated 10 times over, rather than the 10-years’ experience they actually needed.

Something like that, anyway (though I maybe haven’t worded it too well, as so often!).

    Let’s hope I’m wrong?

But for how long should one hope that, before changing tack?

My perspective is that almost everyone overestimates what can be achieved quickly, and part of the outcome of that miscalculation is that they also underestimate what they could have achieved slowly.

  7. Good Evening Probability,

Thank you for your perspective on me getting rich, quickly.

Just to make sure I understand you:

    1. Are suggesting I plan for 10 years to make $1 million trading the ES Futures Market?

    2. Were you born and raised in America?

    Thank you

The time it takes depends on how much starting capital you have and also your skill level. and then how kind the markets are to you during any given period.

Some times the markets can be shite for two years in a row and you make almost nothing, but then print money the next 3 or 4 years in a row and get to turn 10K into 1M. But only if you have the skill to take advantage of those good market conditions.

  9. Good Evening Businessman,

I have no clue what good or bad market conditions mean. I have no idea what skill means either.

I do not worry about all those fancy words.

I trade the ES futures market to get VERY rich, as quickly as possible.

I am not waiting for no 1, 2, or 3 years to get rich. That is not my style to wait or be patient, that sounds dumb to wait to get rich.

Do you live in America? In America, we only want to get rich fast, not slow.

That's fine, but do you have a plan to get rich quick?

You can't just keep on just saying 'I will get rich quick' with no plan to do it.

At least tell us your overall plan, otherwise your posts are repeating the same old line over and over again. We have heard you say that a 100 times already.

Do you know how many points a year you expect to make trading ES?

Do you know how many contracts you are going to trade to get rich quick?

Please be more specific, thanks. Im not asking you to reveal your secret edge. Just some general trading metrics.
