Wow!! I actually saw this guy in like 1980 or 1981 at a club called Tut's in Chicago. I really dug People who've died and Day and Nght. The only downer about the show was he didn't hit the stage until Midnight (on a weeknight) and I had to be on the floor checking outrades (I was a clerk) at 6:30am. Hangover city.
Oh man, what a story. I can just listen to this song over and over. I read Basketball Diaries in 6th grade and have been hooked on Carroll ever since, I suggest him to anybody.
