The people in parliament who may have not been liked by the establishment might be assets to help resolve the current crisis. Who would fit in this category, and are they out to appeal to their constituencies for calm?
The BNP or freedom party are the most likely to get votes. The euro opposition party UKIP will be for more moderate voters. After tonight I think it will BNP that will do the best in terms of vote gains.
I have always had a high(er) level of respect for the good people of London who taketh no shit from the powers to be. They let their opinions be known in no uncertain terms. I consider the loss of a bus and a building, and a few injuries, to be a very small price to pay for the betterment of the people which results from the actions. If only the US could learn, we could go to Iraq, burn a bus, come back home, and live happily ever after. But the US is a bunch of sheep. Always and forever.
Lucrum's right it is F*CKING SERIOUS. This is no little riot that will go away. There will be a complete change of society when it is over. It is like the Crow (the film) when they have that day every year when everything is torched. Do you know what I mean?
Morganist, some of your posts recently had an air of alarm and urgency. Now, I see why. Let's hope this all ends quickly.
