You said you were not voting for Biden. That can be fairly taken as you are not a Biden supporter.

My #1 vote is currently not in the political race although I'm not sure why she's still on the sidelines just like other Independents or they're not sure when to get their name on the ballot...

Maybe I don't have the understanding that Independents put their name on the ballots until later in the primary cycle or maybe only in the presidential vote cycle (not the primaries) ???

Yet, I do understand a person can support someone without voting that person #1 because that person has someone else that's #1 on their "to vote list". As I will say again and again, I have nothing against another Biden presidency because it would mean there's NOT another Trump presidency.

With that said, maybe I'm wrong, Liz Cheney is the most outspoken Independent about the dangers of another Trump presidency in comparison to other Independents. She's currently, traveling the United States to give speeches/discussions about Trump's "antithetical" behavior towards Democracy & U.S. Constitution...kudos to her for not being a sell-out (definition at the bottom of this message post).

Tony, what are the other Independents doing about the current poll leader (Trump the rapist & anti-democracy) that others and you support ???

Former U.S. Rep. Liz Cheney called on Tennessee Republicans to reject former President Donald Trump as they head to the polls this year, denouncing his flouting of the U.S. Constitution as antithetical to the sustenance of the American republic.

“There’s a really clear choice,” Cheney said. “You cannot be both for Donald Trump and for the Constitution.”

Cheney represented Wyoming in the U.S. House of Representatives for six years, and served as chair of the U.S. House Republican Conference. She was vice chair of the House Jan. 6 Committee to investigate the attack on the U.S. Capitol.

On Tuesday, she spoke in conversation with Pulitzer Prize winning historian Jon Meacham as a guest of The Rogers Center and the Vanderbilt Project on Unity and American Democracy. Her memoir of the Jan. 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol, "Oath and Honor," was released in December.

Speaking to a standing-room-only crowd at Vanderbilt University’s Langford Auditorium, Cheney roundly criticized the Republican frontrunner as anti-Constitutional and unconservative, citing a long list of misdeeds against the American system of government that she says disqualifies him from holding the office.

The president is not above the law. The president cannot deploy the military to seize voting machines and rerun the election in swing states as Mike Flynn suggested Donald Trump do,” Cheney said. “If a president refuses to abide by and enforce the rulings of our courts, that immediately unravels the system – immediately – and we know Donald Trump will do that.”

She challenged fellow Republicans to hold Trump’s supporters in Congress – and his Republican donors – accountable for choosing to “ignore what he’s saying.”

“I think every Republican donor who’s giving him money needs to be held accountable for the fact that they’re giving money to someone who has said publicly he thinks we can terminate the Constitution,” Cheney said. “He did attempt to overturn an election. He’s been found liable for sexual assault and now has to pay $83.3 million for that. This is a really depraved individual.”

Recalling events of Jan. 6, 2021, Cheney described being told to don a gas mask, and if needed, take cover behind the bulletproof chairs in the U.S. House Chamber as angry crowds breached the U.S. Capitol attempting to halt certification of the 2020 election during which Trump was defeated.

“We have to make sure he does not prevail in 2024,” she said.

    Defeating Trump

Presidents need both policy and principles. With Trump now poised to become presidential nominee for the Republican Party, engaging Republican voters who agree with the policies Trump backed during his first term ― despite his moral and constitutional shortcomings ― is a hard sell. But Cheney doesn’t see the 2024 election as a binary choice.

“There will be people who decide not to support Donald Trump and decide to write somebody in,” Cheney said, refraining from making any endorsement.

She says supporting Trump's policies in spite of his anti-democratic, authoritarian principles is dangerous for the nation.

“When I hear from Republicans, ‘yeah, you're right, Donald Trump, you know, did things that no President has done and it was dangerous, but people will restrain him in the next term, and he's going to cut my taxes, so I'm gonna vote for him’ – those are the people that we have to make sure we reach to say, ‘no he's not the lesser of two evils here,'" she said.

She doesn't know what ET talking heads have said about Black Americans supporting Trump...for the MONEY. In my youth, hanging out with Italians, we called individuals like that...a sell-out.

A person who compromises their personal values, integrity, talent, etc., for money or personal advancement. Informal - a person who betrays a cause, organization, or the like; traitor.

    Donald Trump Quotes:
Former President of the United States of America

    ‘Russians? Great vodka, great women’

"I hate the French. They suck at wars and all they eat is cheese and garlic. Disgusting. French women, I like very much."

"The Germans aren't the same since they got rid of the wall. My ancestors came from Germany to make America great. But they left behind a lot of not very pretty people. Have you seen Merkel?"

"The Ukrainians have got to be part of Russia again. That's when they were great. They should join up with Putin and quit crying."

"The Spanish know how the world works. They sent all the Muslims out of Spain 500 years ago. Don't tell me the Spanish don't know what's what."

"I love the Czechs. My first wife Ivana was Czech. My kids speak Czech. Have you seen my daughter Ivanka? She has a hot body. If I wasn't her father, I would date her."

"The Italians love Trump. I'm rich, I'm successful, I'm always surrounded by beautiful women. Like that Berlusconi guy!"

"The Belgians have a terrible country. How many languages does one country need? And have you been to Brussels? It's a hellhole. Belgium sucks."

"I love the Swedes. My family came from Sweden originally. I know I said they came from Germany but Sweden sounds better."

"I don't have time to talk about Portugal. Far as I'm concerned, Portuguese people are the same as Spanish, but with worse wine."

"Somebody told me the Hungarian prime minister thinks he's Trump. I gotta tell you, it will take more than kicking the Muslims out to be Trump. Has he a hot wife? No? Then he's no Trump!"

There are also Trump's multiple appearances on "The Howard Stern Show" discussing his own sex life and the body parts of women with whom he felt it was possibly worth sleeping, including Melania and his daughter, Ivanka. There's all the times he's said he'd try to "date" his daughter, given her looks, if he weren't her father.

    Stormy Daniels:

.....She describes Trump's penis as "smaller than average" but "not freakishly small."
"He knows he has an unusual penis," Daniels writes. "It has a huge mushroom head. Like a toadstool...""I lay there, annoyed that I was getting fucked by a guy with Yeti pubes and a dick like the mushroom character in Mario Kart..."It may have been the least impressive sex I'd ever had, but clearly, he didn't share that opinion."

I have heard of Stormy Daniels (the former porn star) and her creepy lawyer but only thought they were capitalizing on her being paid off to be silent.

I wouldn't be surprised if other congressional members had affairs with porn stars too... the hypocrisy of Washington.

Only a porn star can publicly describe in great detail a night of sex with someone. Further, I'm a little surprised she never went on the Howard Stern show to talk about her sexual encounters with Trump. Yet, I heard she dislikes Howard Stern because he's known to make fun of people with "learning disabilities" and types of "mental retardation".

In contrast, I heard about the Howard Stern interview with Trump and Melanie. I equate that to thinking I bet Howard Stern wanted to do a similar interval with Bill Clinton and Hilary Clinton/Monica Lewinsky...all in the same bed.

Yet, it is Howard Stern and he enjoys doing those types of interviews with celebrities, rich people, movie stars, and anyone he thinks is important to be heard to find out some juicy details for his audiences.

What type of dumbass would respond to me that I have on my "ignore list" when I'm talking about Liz Cheney when I am the only one talking about Liz Cheney in this thread...

Simply, stop being a dickhead and fuck off. Your typical tongue-in-cheek commentary, insurrectionist support is the reason why I have your ass on ignore.

Only a dumbass doesn't understand more Independents are threatening to run for the 2024 Presidential Elections...some for the purpose to take votes away from either Trump or Biden.

Liz Cheney is the biggest Independent threat although I'm not sure why she's waiting after she stated a year ago she would run to help keep Trump from winning back the Oval Office.

Didn't know Michelle Obama was running too...I missed that memo.

P.S. I'm not a fan of traitors to Democracy, and the U.S. Constitution...4 generations of U.S. military and the mother of my children a West Point Alumni would do that to a person. :D
