Today, I don't live in a rural community but I have two siblings that do live in a rural community...Kentucky and South Dakota. Regardless, I will compare the state-level support of the Inflation Reduction Act for the three states I'm associated with.

Kentucky state-level support of the IRA: 64%

Illinois state-level support of the IRA: 71%

South Dakota state-level support of the IRA: 64%

Note: Illinois has always been good (supportive) of green energy projects. Thus, it's not surprising to me that it has higher support for the IRA.

In comparison, Texas is where my grandfather is buried in a military cemetery...it has a whopping 88% support for the IRA but maybe because there are a lot of rural / farm communities in Texas.

With that said one year now after the bipartisan support for the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) although Republicans supported (helped pass) the bill...as shown below...they lagging behind the Democrats and the Independents in their support...

Thus, the Republicans are doing the Tubervillism dance.

A Year After the Passage of the Inflation Reduction Act, Key Climate Provisions of the Law Enjoy Strong Support Across the Electorate

Why would it matter if they vote for "him"...as stated multiple times...they will do the Tubervillism dance like Texas. :D

Enjoying the freebies from rebates, tax credits, and incentives from the Inflation Reduction Act while pretending they never heard of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA)...

That's a given and it's politics...I'm OK with it because I'm going to get my freebies too but I will acknowledge the Inflation Reduction Act that will help me get those freebies. :p

Thus, I will not do the Tubervillism dance.
