You don't get a $7500 credit for a EV charging station, that is for the car Some states will give you 1k for a charging station
Maybe your English comprehension is a little slow today... I specifically stated a parallel between the cost to build one at my mom's car dealership versus one similar built at Walmart. In contrast, Walmart only talks about doing its part for the Inflation Reduction Act without discussing how much it costs them and does not discuss the tax credits per EV charging station. My mom's car dealership did discuss the costs / tax credits under the Inflation Reduction Act with me and I'm going to assume it is the same or cheaper for Walmart to build considering Walmart is nationwide and my mom's car dealership is only local. wrbtrader
You're wasting your time with message posts to me about polls that have nothing to do with the Inflation Reduction Act. You already know I'm not voting if there's a Biden/Trump repeat unless there's a suitable Independent candidate. Simply, I'm sure you can search for a poll about the Inflation Reduction Act...right ??? Post this one of many about the Inflation Reduction Act... https://www.dataforprogress.org/inflation-reduction-act-polling https://climatecommunication.yale.edu/publications/who-is-most-supportive-of-the-ira/ Then there's this one... A projection thanking Democrats for the passage of the Inflation Reduction Act is displayed in front of the White House on Aug. 12, 2022. A Morning Consult/Politico survey found that 34% of voters think the IRA will make inflation worse, while 24% said it will make it better and 23% said it will have no impact. https://pro.morningconsult.com/articles/inflation-reduction-act-reduce-prices-irs-survey An interesting poll because it was taken when Inflation was HIGH. Tony, I'm curious if there are polls about the Inflation Reduction Act now (the past month) now that Inflation has declined a lot and the FED still trying to manage inflation...can the FED get inflation to go even lower ??? If there is poll...I'm confident you will not post it. Before I go, maybe it's a 30k tax credit and not 7.5k tax credit for Walmart (a commercial business). Thus, the car dealership gave me incorrect info. Key Takeaways The US Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), which marked its first anniversary in August, is driving investment in clean energy with a broad range of tax incentives. A total of 280 clean energy projects have been announced across 44 US states in the IRA’s first year, representing $282 billion of investment. Companies discussing the IRA along with hydrogen fuel and infrastructure on earnings calls indicated a strong potential to invest, with 70% of mentions including a target or projecting numbers. https://www.gsam.com/content/gsam/u...ving-clean-energy-investment-one-year-in.html Walmart, IKEA, mom's car dealership, military friend's homes, hundreds of businesses in America, and I have heard about the Inflation Reduction Act. We are the 3 out of 10 that have heard about it. VA is going solar...thanks to the Inflation Reduction Act... Take care wrbtrader
