A representative with China Mobile Ltd. said while the situation was related to the COVID-19 outbreak, it was not related to deaths, but changes in lifestyle.

“It was mainly due to reduced business and social activities resulting from the COVID-19 outbreak,” a spokesperson with the company confirmed to the AP. “Many customers in China have multiple SIM cards and it is common that they use their non-primary SIM cards to do these activities.”

I am saying our Government is too centralized for addressing this crisis. There needs to be an independent authority that bases policy on scientific reasoning and not weighted on political considerations. Did you miss the Trump Shit Show Coronavirus press updates, as just one example?

As it is now, some states are reopening, some are extending how long they are staying closed, and none have sufficient provisions in place that adequately deal with this or future outbreaks. Can anyone say reinfection? China can, with US States to follow shortly with this “staggering” reopening strategy. Once adequate protections are in place, then it makes sense open things up again, assuming we were right to shut things down in the first place.

    2. WHO is an independent authority that basically was swayed by China and proved their are complete dumbasses to say in January no human to human transmission. How could medical experts be so wrong who were on the ground in China and getting information from teh Chinese government? Because China lied and WHO went for the money.
There was credible evidence of the risks this virus posed on the global community early on as published in NEJM.org and posted here on ET in January. The source was a Chinese doctor in a letter to the editor of the New England Journal of Medicine.

In addition, another ET poster, who I find credible, mentioned he had dinner with the head of a US military biological response unit and he said he was worried about COVID-19.

Furthermore, I have a friend who lives in Washington State who talked with a friend who is an accomplished doctor who also indicated his concern. This too, was in January.

The medical community in the United States knew the risks COVID-19 posed to the US population, but nothing meaningful was done to prevent infection. Who has the authority to implement such policy? Correctamundo, our politicians. By the way, where was most of our media on this in January? Suspiciously silent as I recall.

Do you want to dig up the posts and supporting citations, or should I?

  3. I heard that a Chinese article originally said "and you don't need a mobile phone when you are in a coffin from Covid and because the Ugyar population no longer needs mobile phones because we just exterminated them so that reduced mobile phone use considerably" but apparently the Communist Party officials did not approve the release of that statement.

Chinese deaths are grossly understated. You want proof? Those urns the relatives of the dead from Corona Virus number in the thousands. By their estimates it is 12 times the actual death rate China reported which is what 3,300 dead Chinese? Take note too that the Chinese moved 10 large incinerators to Wuhan at the height of Corona Virus. One more big mystery is how the Chinese were able to control it and keep it only pretty much in Wuhan, China? Could they already have a vaccine ready before the Corona Virus was unleashed. Take note this is a variation of the Sars Virus or Sars Virus 2 known as Covid Virus. That is where it started supposedly, from a laboratory. Could this be a form of weaponized biological weapon purposely spread? President Donald Trump offered experts from the US CDC and China refused. Again, what are they hiding? One more thing, they arrested a Chinese microbiologist with various viruses in his briefcase. What was he doing with those viruses? He got arrested yet, there is no news what happened to him or his briefcase full of viruses?
