Most scientists in this country are Democrats. That’s a problem.
    By DANIEL SAREWITZ

It is no secret that the ranks of scientists and engineers in the United States include dismal numbers of Hispanics and African-Americans, but few have remarked about another significantly underrepresented group: Republicans.

No, this is not the punch line of a joke. A Pew Research Center Poll from July 2009 showed that only around 6 percent of U.S. scientists are Republicans; 55 percent are Democrats, 32 percent are independent, and the rest “don’t know” their affiliation.

Democrats embrace new ideas. Replubicans embrace old ideas. The key word in MAGA is “again.” (Harkening to the past of old ideas)

In our current economy, ideas create wealth, not hard work, not capital, and not preferential access.

The division between democrats and republicans isn’t economic: it’s education. Education leads to new ideas which leads to wealth in our knowledge economy.

20 years ago, the education statistics of politics were the exact opposite of what they are now.
Pubs went to University and Dems didn’t.

Now with most University educations outed as obvious liberal scams, and campuses replete with liberal scum, other than STEM, young Conservatives go much less.

Most University kids are liberals anyways and it’s because they are young and stupid. And that’s ok.

But while nearly 100% of gender studies and social sciences and humanities are liberal fields, the ratios lean conservative in the fields where money gets made after University. That’s why nearly 100% of oil men and miners are conservatives and 100% of baristas and community organizers are liberals.
100% of flight attendants are Libs and nearly 100% of pilots are Conservative.
Beer producers are notoriously conservative. Bartenders are notoriously Liberal.

You want to show studies that show that 100percent of pilots are conservatives? And flight attendants as well. Was this just a fake statistic you pulled. Is that how you were taught to debate in your GED class?

The tech industry is liberal. Institutional finance is skewing liberal. Journalism, education, pure science, and the arts have always skewed liberal because to be successful in those fields requires absorbing new ideas.

Coal miners are conservative but that industry isn’t based on ideas. It’s based on capital (mining is expensive) and preferential access (permits) and the jobs are physically hard work.

Which only serves to prove that Democrats are simply about protecting the rich in our country. These elite 1%s live in wealthy enclaves on the U.S. east and west coast representing a tiny portion of the country's geographic area but a large portion of the wealth that they appropriated from the hard-working tax payers via crony capitalism.

No it’s not 100% for Flight attendants and pilots. But they lean hard in their respective directions and for good reason.
Flight attendants are walking vacuums and vending machines, mostly women, gay men...totally useless.
Pilots are mostly men, have to deal with real life situations, heavy military background, risk takers...and thus much more likely to be Conservative.

Any industry that is male dominated is very likely to be Conservative.
