Rich in US: We'll Spend Less If Obama Wins By Robert Frank | CNBC â 2 hours 5 minutes ago The latest Mendelsohn Affluent Barometer showed that 43 percent of the $250,000-plus earners would spend more if Romney is elected. Only 18 percent of them would spend more if President Barack Obama is re-elected. One reason for their reduced spending plans? Taxes. Not surprisingly, 55 percent of the high earners expect their taxes to go up if Obama wins. Only 24 percent expect a tax increase with a Romney win. And 22 percent said the election will have no impact on their taxes.
You have to face the facts, the middle-class, the affluent and businesses have lost complete confidence in Obama.
No one is going to ask them to spend. We'll simply take it in form of taxes. Historically, war time taxes on rich were in 90%. We are in a war time, aren't we?
it is interesting that the rich whine when business profits are at an all time high while taxes are at all time lows under obama. they are fos. they will spend whatever they want no matter who is president. because they can.
This is actually the democrat plan. Obama has a consistent pattern of screwing republican constituencies and showering the money on his own leeches.
