  2. now, it's abundantly clear why you had trouble extracting wisdom (hahahaha) from VN's books.

  3. And what wisdom have you extracted that can be tangibly manifested, quite apart from your obvious arrogance and pomposity? No doubt there is a measurable justification for your having become something of a snot...right?

  5. That's all well and good, but you still didn't answer my question. What have you learned from VN, aside from the "test everything" generality, and how has it measurably manifested in your trading performance? So rather than resorting to your condescending, pat, subjective responses, as per usual, give us something objective.

  6. Well, you have to make the leap that allows you to accept that there are those that have superior information.

    Not always.

Not the same people every time.

But frequently , some size players have foreknowledge that you have no access to.

It might make you feel better to think that this is very rare or even paranoid.

    They like it that way.

  8. most people get into many things not knowing what kinds of frustration they face. art included. most hobbies are put away after the trial and error phase.. most people find that they aren't very artisitic.

yes, many people get into trading thinking that it is as easy as the idea of stroking oil paints onto a canvas.

most leave hobbies when they discover they are a member of the mediocrity club. most don't continue doing what they're not good at. most end up scorning what they can't.

  9. just to clarify, i don't scorn any trader and anyone who trys this game has my understanding or respect. only those who try to sell the dream under false pretense receive my scorn.

there is a huge difference between seeing reality and scorning.
