You mentioned it was Youtube that suggested Madonna and I replied it only has a 9th ranking in comparison to Rihanna's 8th ranking. Also, I wanted to post a different video of Madonna's halftime show in comparison to your link but posted the wrong link. Regardless, in another 20 years with more shows to rank...I believe Madonna & Rihanna will be still next to each other as more new halftime shows get ranked above them but I doubt any of the next shows will eclipse U2's show that pays tribute to 911 victims. In my opinion, Michael Jackson was a creep prior to his show and was a creep after his show. The part where he states "...this is for the children of the world"...creepy pedophile message ??? I was just ranking the show performance purely on the quality of the show and not the merit of the performer. Those ranks are very subjective. Michael Jackson was put on trial for the charges and was acquitted. The police didn't find any incriminating evidence at the ranch. The witnesses went back and forth on their testimony; some refused to testify, some defended Michael Jackson but then later on turned around and re-accused him. Michael Jackson's own sister first accused Michael of child abuse and then recanted saying she was put up to it by her husband. And then there was the money. Money really murked up the whole thing and now we would just never know the truth. I mean if Michael Jackson really never abused the children, why did he offer to pay to settle and even pay more than what was asked? I mean if you are really innocent, don't you want to clear your name instead of just paying your accusers off? For the accusers, if you really were abused, why did you recant your testimony and not just once but several times? Why did you accept the money? Don't you want to be believed as the real victim instead of just somebody who's after the money? What I speculate is that there was probably something but was it enough to constitute sexual abuse? One would just never know and Michael Jackson just didn't want to go through the ordeal anymore, to be publicly humiliated, to have the most private parts of his body being described in public documents and he would rather focus on making music. The accusers, the victims probably weren't entirely comfortable with what Michael Jackson did to them but they know their case might or might not stand up to the scrutiny and they don't want to be bothered by the process anymore to be scrutinized, to have to tell their stories over and over and over and over and over again either (just look at how Amber Heard's lawyer grilled that poor doorman with the same questions about Amber's goddam freaking makeup over and over and over and over and over again) and just want to get on with their lives also especially when Michael Jackson was willing to pay. At the end money settled everything. For us, we got to watch a spectacular half-time show by Michael Jackson.
Out of all of the doctors that he could have in the world and he had to choose the worst one who was less competent than a med student. I was really shocked when I read the news and I was even more shocked that nobody warned MJ about it. He has friends and he has confidants, and acquaintances and nobody warned him about this incompetent doctor??

It was shocking news. He did pick out a doctor that would give him the drugs that he needed to sleep and maybe that was his mistake.
The problem with these halftime shows is they have good artistes but long after there prime. I mean Madonna in the early 1990s would have have been spectacular not 22 years later. Her late 1980s albums are some of the best dance music you'll hear. U2 in 2002 was very good but they peaked in 1986 with Joshua Tree. I remember the Prince show a few years ago was very good but again Prince's great music from 1983-1987 especially his Controversy & Purple Rain LPs.
