RHAT : Good Rebound Play ??

Discussion in 'Stocks' started by discrat, Oct 26, 2006.

  1. Of course, some of you who played the bounce on RedHat made some coin. Congratulations.

The point is, however, the bounce doesnt always happen according to plan. Sure you made some cash now, but later on things might be different with another company and you might just take a loss.

I would take each bounce play case by case. There are stocks that take a dump each and every day. You can see them on a screener. I wouldnt feel like I missed out if I decided to pass.

There is no shortage of everyday opportunities in the stock market. Its best to play it safe when you dont feel 100% comfortable. Move on to something you do feel safe with.

My advice, take a conservative thought out educated approach to the issue.

  2. 15.50 was a long-term support. So far it held despite a strong down gap day. Let's see if it can take it up and fill the gap.

The IBM rumor lifted RHAT 5% in under 30 min on Friday. Quite interesting to say the least. We'll see what happens.

  6. Well, i got out of there once the rebound on Friday happened. Too much competition, they are getting attacked by everyone...

  7. well, that aint the reason i would buy the sob...just the strenght it showed after the gap and the typical inevitable recovery awaitin' the stock price.
