Generally, the best is a paper trading account with a brokerage. Real time quotes and all that. Anyway, google "metatrader" and some free account from some brokerage might come up. I am contemplating moving to TradeStation. I am a Swing Trader, not a scalper. As this is the only NEW thread on tradestation, How do you like the newer features. Matrix Window, etc... They seem appealing to my visual style of trading (not to mention am I a mac User and visuals is sorta what I am used to.) Right now I use QuoteTracker and Trade-Ideas to watch/handle all my stuff. I have been debating about going to IB or TS. I want the back testing of TS (played with an older version and I like EL. Found some nice setups on EOD Data, that I was able to trade with) All the old complaints I read about the brokerage.....What about now.... I read one positive on execution and data feeds, etc......
