At ECHOtrade you do NOT need a current series 7. You need to have passed the test at some point in your life. Hopefully at that same point you would have been registered and therefore in the CRD system, that makes it very easy to prove that you have passed the test. If you were never in the NASD CRD system then you will need a U-4 or U-5 or test results to prove that you have taken and passed it. Once in the CRD always in the CRD, whether or not your info is available on the net to the public is irrelevant.
