This morning I wonder if I had a futures account if I would have been smart enough to short last night...65 points per contract right now.

    Gambling instinct high this am.
    Volatility?
    TSLA/SCTY?
    Stick with regular vehicles?
    RBS/BCS or an ETF?

Like a moth to a flame I feel

    June was just great.
    End balance $29,109
    3992 core shares
$4299 profit from day trades, in excess of 14% CURRENT acct value.

I might stop sharing here. No glory, no aholes.
It will be an interesting next 3 months for me.

  6. You don't have to update every trade (i understand this is a journal, but still) -- you should just produce your success story when it's completed...
When (of if) you succeed....people then should say I turned, for example, $5,000 into $500,000. with the details then to follow.

...this will be more interesting to read, rather then a post that's 10+ pages long. o_O:)
Or even if it's a failure story, still create one of these kind of topic stories.

A little bit of math to sum up this endeavor, plz note this is with fuzzy math figures and is based upon current price level, not last nights.
    1. Amount placed into the account was about $13,654
    2. Gain on positions is $7123 (52% of input, 24% current balance).
    3. Trade profits were $8826 (64% of input, 29% of current).
    4. Total gain was 117% in six months.

I really like your strategy and approach: Holding a core position and trading the same stock for profits to add to the position. This way, you limit your downside but compound your upside. Brilliant.
