  1. I am a recently disaplaced trader looking for a career change. My question is what are some good descriptions to put on my resume under equities trader? I am having a tough time thinking of stuff to put on there. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

  2. ...."sure, I lost money over the last two years, but not as much as most of the guys at my firm"

Truthfully, describe the type of trading you did. Scalp, swing ect...
as well as you avg return per trade.

I would also put in your risk parameters...If your last firm let you go down 5,10,15% on a trade or a dollar amount.

Lastly, also talk about what type of discipline you have and or your own personal risk management.

  3. if you were licensed, refer to yourself as a NASD registered equities trader/professional

if you weren't then choose your title carfeully
