  1. Hi there

2019 has already passed. In this thread I want to share with some my results and conclusion which I received. I propose to share and discuss which results and/or conclusion do you have . Thanks.

Based on this thread () I will share my results and some conclusions which I found out whithing 2019.
Firstly I will describe in few words about reasons and main principles of this strategy. I named this approach Lazy Strategy to avoid active intraday trading. Eventually I found that I spent to many time for active intraday trading but could have been having the same results using much simplier approach. Fot this case I need to choose the rights rulles which could help me to reach good results. ( Some of ideas ho to trade I published there)
    1. I used volume analysis for making decisions. Mostly daily timeframe.
    2. I didn't use every opportunity for trading only with the highest probability of movement in one side. Simply put I tried to catch good movement in one direction.
    3. I didn't use take profit for fixing positions. Only daily ATR for SL or closing in end of session. I didn't hold position more than 1 day.
    4. I didn't use avaraging, martingale or something like this. Only 1 opening 1 closing.
    5. I traded only in main sessions and main instruments.

First of all results for 2019.

    Conclusions
    Trading conclusions.
    1. Futures on indices NQ, ES, RTY, FDXM, FESX, YM had much better momentum movements in comparing with futures on currency (like 6A, 6B, 6C, 6E, 6J, 6S). Probably for my approach.
    2. Commodities (GC, CL) also have good potential for fast movement.
    3. In trading of futures on Bonds (FGBL, ZB, ZN and other) I have small minus. On these instruments there are no so many momentum movements.

    Conclusions about taking risk.
    1. Despite on I had only 46% of winning trades, finally I have positive results.
    2. For some instruments daily ATR could have very big drawdown. For example the biggest losing I had on NQ, and despite it was covered I mean this very big drawdown. So for this case I thank CME for creation microcontracts. So when volativity increasing much better to trade microcontracts ( e.g. MNQ instead of mini NQ. )

Time which I spending for trading.
    1. This is the biggest advantage which I had. I spent about 15-20 min for daily analysis and about 20-30 min per day for opening position.
The minus that I put alert for setup for entry, and sometimes I missed signal, because was out of terminal.
    2. Unfortunately I'm not a programmer to formalize this strategy in algorithm. So any case I shoul spent time for trading.

    Plan for updating strategy.
    1. Post factum after my analysis of my trades I found that I should use smaller Stop Loss. In case I'm right it's better to reopen position pnce more. It will take more time but might give better result in Profit/Max DD ratio. But it still should be Lazy Strategy, so no more the 2 trades per day for one instrument.
    2. I will check once more this approach for the currency pairs and bonds. I should refuse them or change approach. I received stable bad results trading currency futures.
    3. I should find out whether I have to hold position more the 1 day. Some times I had good position which I closed before very good movement.

Please share which conclusions have you done about trading? Thank you.
