I have trading restrictions for mostly everything at work that I am familiar with. I have to hold for 30 days, but I have no holding period for the following: Futures, Options on futures -Financials (Interest Rates, Treasuries, CDs) -Indices -Commodity Futures Commodities & MF -Commodities -Exchange Trade Funds Currencies -Spot -Forwards/Futures -Options on Currencies Wanted to start learning how to trade one of the following. Reading and studying up before anything and then trading actively. Any guidance on what would be a good security/product to learn and trade... Try to make some money eventually.
