What are peoples thoughts on using a resting order and a very close stop to enter a trade,verses hitting a bid or taking an offer to enter a trade. My thoughts: The advantage of using the resting order is the stop can be closer,but there is no confirmation of the pattern. The advantage of hitting the bid or taking the offer is you have waited for confirmation of the pattern,but since the move has begun your stop must be wider. Seems to me kind of a trade off.
