Now I cannot concur that you are a "natural conservative".

Traditional conservatives are "fiscally conservative" with tax dollars, strongly support education, believe in reasonable taxation with sound spending plans, demand cost analysis & payback information on public projects, support short-term (not long-term) public benefits, believe more charity should come from the private sector than the taxpayer, are likely to stay out of governing social issues (clearly a problem with government today) and are generally socially progressive in a slow manner (do not like quick social changes).

Many politicians are narcissists. We have many examples in local, state, and federal government. They are found of both sides of the aisle. It is a not a "Democratic" or "Republican" thing -- but a "many politicians" thing. Trump just takes narcissism to to the next level compared to the others.

  2. So clearly in this eye, conservative is team conservative, nothing to do with conservative values.

Tribalism/team is all I see, with or against trigger reaction is not actual conservatism.

It's not that, it's immigrants/minorities + transgenders/gays + woman not putting out as they used to (aka feminism) + their taxes helping poor people especially minorities (aka fiscal conservatism)

These are the only four issues that matter and these are the only issues that will ever matter for Cons everywhere.

  4. On the macro level yes. What I see when I look at guys like Max E., KKK, Gem and the rest is mean and damaged characters supplying each other.

As a conservative I hate saying 'supplying'.

Anyway 7391.25 to 7309 first target and I'm well paid for the day on NQ. :) Off to pack for the weekend away.

That revenue is not surprising with a 4% quarter. We will see how the numbers look in October.

Don't go by what they say, read between the lines, you will notice one of the four themes serving as the background for all of their nonsense.

For example, one reason they oppose accepting the scientific view on climate change is because they think it will raise their taxes and benefit the ugly minorities.

  9. Of course one way to feel good is to actually be superior but that takes a bit of balls and hard work for the skills.

  10. Labels like conservative and liberal have lost relevance. The alt right and far left actually share a considerable number of positions. The alt right and black nationalists and the so-called hotep black pride movement also have a lot in common.

My position is populist/nationalist, which I think is pretty close to what Trump espouses and which is ascendant in a Europe reeling from the horror of uncontrolled migration. This is a philosophy that some would call paleo-conservative, and has been articulated for a long time by Pat Buchanan, among others.

The primary tenets would be a total revamping of immigration policy, a strong defense but staying out of far away conflicts that do not threaten us directly, strict reciprocity on trade and protection of entitlements like social security and medicare. IOW pretty much the exact opposite of the policies of the establishment republican party.
