I occasionally, let losers run and blow big chunks, which blows confidence, but getting rarer and rarer as times goes on, so there is a not wanting to take loser issue.

I don't gamble, not got that mentality don't worry.

New method is just 24sma + 2 x BB 24sma 1 and 2 setting, simple momo following, using the BB for range to entry with direction and exit when broken as likely direction change, all market I watch performing well tonight!!

  3. People who have been long enough in trading, have gained a very unique knowledgeunderstanding of the market. This is what the 10,000 hours screen time brings.
The hurdle for them is to get over the believe they know it all:
"money management ?" : not for me
"psychology ?" : not for me
    "spirituality?" : not for me

May be this is where it is much easier to coach youngsters or "out of the norm" type of people,
when they get in coaching: they believe they don't know much, and are willing to try
different approaches as long as it gets them to progress.

Now Turvey is also finding escuses to feel comfortable " yeah I had fun" , "yeah I had a good time". When some of these type of mentality people get into doing their meditation, they realise the depth of their ignorance, and it becomes " I was programmed like an addict, happy in my addiction, justifying my addiction, etc".
Reminds me of this drug addict who was given a choice : 6 months jail or 2 months in a rehab center. The addict chose the jail time. As he also said "he has fun".

Or Maybe I've been trading on and off for 20years, mainly off as you can see and just kinda losing interest in the chase and the challenge, every problem solved just leads to 2 more problems to solve.

I've been full time twice, markets are just too messy, too much news creating random moves.

Not that I've quit yet, I plan to give this method a good try, but lack of time and a holiday so it'll be 2 - 3 weeks before I even attempt to give it a bash :(
