Repubs Need To Pick Up 10 Senate Seats For Majority... So What If They Do??

Discussion in 'Politics' started by Scataphagos, Nov 2, 2010.

  1. It takes 60 votes to pass the Senate. So what difference does it make if the Repubs have 51 or 49 seats?

    Am I missing something?

  2. Republicans and Democrats are two sides of the same coin. Do not expect anything different.

Gridlock is better than the agenda of the Obama Regime. If they can't pass laws the only way the President can destroy the country is via executive order but he will be taken to court on those.

Hopefully the House will start investigating regime operatives and some folks will go to jail, like Eric Holder.

It matters huge in 2012. Remember these are 6 year terms and in 2012 there are 32 seats up for grabs, 22 of them are democrat.

It really doesn't matter what the Senate results are, so long as the GOP wins the House. Once Republicans take the House, Obama's agenda is finished, even if the idiot Democrats had all 100 Senate seats. :D

Most legislation starts in the House, so the Left won't be pushing anything thru and the Right won't be able to overcome a filibuster so we get gridlock.

    Yeah!
