O'Donnell was not elected, so please don't put her into the same category as Palin/Bachmann. For every O'Donnell on the right, there are 3 Cynthia McKinney's on the left.

So are you suggesting that Bachmann and Palin are inferior mentally to Boxer or Pelosi?

I would love to see a four way debate between those women. Bachmann and Palin would run circles around those two babbling idiots.

If any one of them mentioned eye-liner, lipstick colour etc. they would forget politics in an instant as being definately less important

No need to bring on the 2nd team just yet imho

  5. Was my post merely suggestive? Forgive me if I wasn't sufficiently clear.

If the USA would like to ramp up operations in Afghanistan and save billions in future medicare then may I suggest allowing anyone who can walk, pull a trigger and count to four sign up for military service.

Casualties would be high but the rewards might be worth it.

The ones with dementia could have a little reminder list of who they are and what they are meant to be doing

  8. Try to get out before the 2012 election. The nonsense will be unbelievable during the elections. The system is not using empathy it is using sympathy. The entire culture of credit usage has permeated throughtout the entire baby boomer generation. I love seeing the bumper stickers that read

    "I spent my grandchildrens ______"

Watching the currency markets is showing the actual economic status of the US. There has not been a needed rate increase by the Fed. Japanese style stagflation will not work here because the amount of equity held be foreign investors of US debt and physical property is astronimical. Draconian enconomic measures taken will result in a path back to growth. Since nobody is willing to give way in D.C. the global market will cause a tectonic shift in leaderhip. The Chinese could at anyyime call in the debt or unload as much as the market will absorb.
Decisions such as the closing the Minnesota government are needed to stabilize the system. California and New York are waiting for the axe man to swing the debt scythe. Texas is one of the only states that have their economic house in some order.
