This should cheer you up Lucrum. The congress decides how much tax you pay and where it's spent and all the congress men and women are on the payroll. You will sleep well tonight my friend one less worry for your weary mind.
A congress elected in part by voters who pay no income tax and have no skin in the game. A congress who largely panders to voters with no skin in the game in exchange for votes. Or did you miss that part?

I am sorry, but I don't understand your point, Lucrum, and I am not consciously trying to misrepresent what you said. From the data I have been able to obtain (US Census and IRS), a comparable percentage of the female population (34.5%) declares their income to the IRS (and, I assume, pays taxes) as that of the male population (41.5%). Obviously, given that their total share of income is smth like 50%, you can certainly say that they pay less taxes. At any rate, I don't really see how this is relevant. After all, my suggestion had nothing to do with who pays for the abortions. I am only suggesting that the legality of of abortion (esp where it concerns rape victims) should be determined by women, possibly of child-bearing age. Suppose that abortions are not taxpayer-funded. Would you have a problem with my idea?

Bill Clinton and Al Gore are both accused RAPISTS. Maybe someone should ask these two subject matter experts.
I am certainly willing to admit if I am stupid and misunderstood what Lucrum was trying to say. However, infinitely sadder is someone who, while being incapable of engaging in direct conversation, feels the need to constantly interject their inanities.
You seem to be suggesting that ONLY women should decide female issues such as rape abortion etc. I merely asked why not/suggested that only tax payers should vote on tax related issues.
