Lots of liberal BS here, as usual. The guy brought down the house, I was there and loved it, one of the very best speeches at the show. He was very successful in humiliating Obama and the Dems and made a lot of sense within a totally convincing comedic framework.

Yes, the official campaign organization will never include it in their statements since Clint was almost insulting to Obama... how can they. But, make no mistake, they too loved it as much as everyone in the audience.

Now, the left is going to attack Clint Eastwood in order to intimidate Hollywood... as they attack every black Republican to keep their political slaves under control. It's a disgusting tactic, but we're used to it, they're creeps, nothing new. Clint has more than $100 million in the bank, a very solid reputation and a fiery disposition, so he doesn't care, he had lots of fun and stole the show. Therefore, boys and girls, all is well, np at all. I'm sure Clint will do it again as a standup show or even a film... looking forward to it.

    :)

  2. Reminded me of a karoake attempt to copy the old Bob Newhart style in his early phone call schticks. I know you have to support any and everything GOP Yannis, but come on, maybe just admit the time could have gone to better use?

Opening up the Dem's to an easy laugh at the GOP's expense? Not too smart.

  3. Oh, I think the GOP managed to screw up the amount of time wasted well enough on their own.

BTW, I noticed you said you are a medical professional. Are you a nurse like RCG or some other type of specialist?

I don't know what else could be done in those 10 minutes. All I know is that I loved the segment: It was fresh and funny and effective. Not to mention that it revitalized the audience that was looking rather bored and tired before he came out.

  5. OK, I guess I can agree with that. Long before we found out that Romney's speech was the worst in Gallup history, or whatever, Eastwood did bring on something different to wake people up.

Not to over-antagonize the libs here, I never want to do that :) , but the Republican convention was extremely successful in its primary objective: the argument now is 99% economic and Romney is a good guy. Not to forget that Ryan is both smart and star-like, while Biden remains an embarrasing, not to be taken seriously, buffoon who only stops talking to change foot in his mouth.

More BS. Romney was fine, he made his points clearly and firmly, polls go up and down and most show a good bounce. All is well for now.

  8. Good for you, don't let reality get in the way of your beliefs. I was just agreeing with you that RNC needed something to wake up the choir.
