  1. Hence, christies speech. He wants to expand that tent. He knows it is too small.

  2. I did not respond right away because when you say AA's which group of AAs would you be referring to?

  4. Many of the right realize this, hence their vitriol.

The mainline GOP knows this too, but they have a lot catching up to do thanks to Mittens.

  5. It will be devastating. With Texas, Cali, Illini, and NY automatic blue states, the electoral math becomes untenable. This is why the GOP knows they MUST get their party back from the Tea Party.

  7. The ones voting 98% for obama.

Implicit in your question is the assumption that not all are being hurt by the hispanic influx. I find that remarkable. Are you willing to see your brethren suffer just because it doesn't affect you personally? Do AA's who manage to leave the urban ghetto just wash their hands and let the less fortunate fend for themselves? Or do they expect rich whites to take care of them?

It is just indisputable that this president has supported policies that are deadly to his most loyal constituency. Taxpayer paid-for abortion on demand, gay marriage, amnesty for illegals, they all are opposed by majorities of AA's and for good reasson. Obama knows however that this group will continue to vote against its own interests for racial reasons. Odd but they didn't get where they are by using common sense.

  8. WE vote 98% Obama because we have an instinctive concern about people talking about "conserving" things. Those values you wish to conserve had us squarely and until VERY recently LEGALLY at the bottom of the social hierarchy that conservatives want to conserve. We are not stupid AAA. All this talk about liberty was also spoken of in 1776, 1866, and 1966. When you mean liberty there is an open question about what kinds of liberties you propose and for whom.

    Lucrum

Apparently you are stupid, since for the most part most of you are STILL at the bottom of the social hierarchy.

  10. Just remember that parties often begin the re-alignment process when things shift against them radically.

Rand Paul was recently speaking about the republican party taking on a more libertarian tone in states such as California and New York and New England, as a possible way to make in roads into "blue states".

If the republican party is defeated this election, it would not surprise me to see them make significant changes in how they present themselves. I do not see them changing their support for the 2nd Amendment and being against abortion, but they will probably begin to change their tone on other issues, especially Hispanics and immigration. A lot of Hispanics have conservative values and will not necessarily vote democrat if they are courted properly by the republican party. The black vote is probably going to be solidly democratic for the foreseeable future, but there are not enough of us to insure democratic victories.
