republicans and The Spectacular Silliness of the 'You Didn't Build That' Debate

Discussion in 'Politics' started by Free Thinker, Jul 25, 2012.

  1. "Somehow, the remarkably fake "you didn't build that" controversy rages on, bravely, against the forces of listening comprehension and common sense. "

Which bring us back to my contention that the dumbest and whackiest people are almost always righties. In this case dumb.....as in can't comprehend.

If Obama says the business class did not build it, what was the point that Obama was trying to make?
Is it back to the old fair share argument?
That the 49% of the non income tax payers should not get to use the roads and bridges?

That infrastructure is a necessary condition of business success, which is a premise in a larger argument he was making.

Yes, you are correct, every businessman agrees with you.
Businessmen would like to see better educated citizens, better infrastructure and less money spend on subsidy welfare.

    Because Obama was being insincere.
He was trying divide the classes. Listen to the audience, he was feeding into their ignorance. Saying they all deserve a piece of the rich mans money....
