The entire article is fact-free speculation and attacks on right-wingers. A classic example is this paragraph you posted.

"The obviously ridiculous case, filed by an increasingly ridiculous figure, highlights conservatives’ strange relationship with Twitter and the First Amendment. Nunes, Trump, and other right-wingers routinely accuse the platform of pushing a political agenda, arguing that its activities amount to “discrimination.” (“Not good,” Trump tweeted about the company’s alleged shadow-banning last summer.) And yet, Twitter is also Trump’s favorite mode of communication—a safe space to vent about his perceived enemies and comment on his favorite television programs in real-time. But as his repeated criticism of Saturday Night Live and other late-night shows demonstrates, Trump isn’t keen on jokes at his expense. Based on this complaint, it appears Nunes feels the same way."

  4. Question: if Conservative pundits and even the president are freely tweeting on Twitter with no limitations, then what other grounds can a lawsuit achieve? Twitter, Facebook, Washington Times, Fox News are all privately held companies that the government cannot sue because they believe their coverage is biased.

It is a frivilous suit that makes GOP look like whiners against only entities that criticize them. Because if Twitter can be sued for that, so can Fox News and OAN assuming equal application of the law. Trump's own frequent use of Twitter is clear that his speech is not being surpressed. (1st amendment is government to private entities, it does not guarantee unbiased media).

Free speech and private property are sacred unless conservatives are discriminated against.

First of all, no. This is a garbage lawsuit and it’s not worth discussing the merits because there are none.

Secondly and most importantly aren’t right wingers the ones who cry about PC speech?

  10. Attached below is an article from arstechnica.com. The author talks about Nune’s apparent motivations for bringing the lawsuit and potential SLAPP implications. This article also includes some funny Twitter insults regarding Nunes.

If the social media kitchen is getting a little too hot for some of these politicians, perhaps they should seek employment elsewhere. Free speech, as long as it’s truly free speech for all, subject to certain reasonable exceptions such as attorney-client privilege or other privacy obligations, is a fundamental right recognized from the birth of this country.
