It depends on how you define combat. Have I been in harms way in hostile areas? Yes. Will I get specific about it? No, because that would violate the non disclosure agreement I signed when I gave up my TS/SCI clearance and got out. What I can tell you is as a Counterintelligence Specialist (0211), my job was to identify, locate and neutralize the enemy espionage, sabotage, subversion and terrorist threat, and, among other things, engage in counterintelligence force protection source operations to defend our troops against that threat. I was not a front line troop (although I attached to them on occasion). Hope that elucidates things for you.
After I was done doing what I had to do on the front lines, yes, I went back to the rear area. You did see the part where I attached to the front line troops right? This is probably why the Marine Corps saw fit to send me to both Jump School and SERE school, because I was both considered "high risk of capture", and needed to be able to insert with SEALS, Force Recon, well, you get the idea. What did you say your experience consisted of again?
That would be called projection on your part Lucrum and is among many unhealthy mental states that you currently harbor. You are going to be one fukked up dude as you age
Again, what combat were you in? A member of a transportation company can be a combat veteran, you idiot. But since you are making all this shit up, you would not know that.
None of your fucking business. But to prove that YOU'RE full of shit I'll be happy to email 377OHMS proof (if he PMs an address to me) because he's shown integrity here.
I'm asking you both to stop because it's wrong to denigrate ANY honorable military service to the United States. If I did that or even gave that impression while trying to make my point about not calling me a "chickenhawk" I was wrong and apologize. And for the record so nobiody tries to twist this into something it's not, I was not a REMF.
