that sounds an awful lot like the bundled mortgages in the caymen islands that they sold several times,no one can trace their title, world wide racketeering,i would vote for that,

Looking over sections 8 and 10 I interpret it as the states are NOT supposed to coin money. The part about "no state shall... make any thing but gold and silver coins for tender of payments" doesn't seem to mean they can make gold and silver coins, but rather the states aren't suppose to allow or condone the use of anything other than gold and silver coins for tender of payment of debts.

An interpretation itself that could possibly be construed as requiring a gold/silver standard. Even though not specifically mentioned in section 1.

    Disclaimer: I've never studied law.

repubs don't want this election, thats why newt is on the ballot, thats why sarah palin was the vp last time,if paul wins as a repub ,then the economic falter lands on the repub party, they want him out,but if the dems win,biz goes on as usual, the difference between the two parties is only on paper, media,an excuse for not passing laws, its the dems fault, repubs fault, end result, corruption in the back office, hell they don't even bother to hide it anymore..if paul gets in ,,that machine grinds to a halt

If I owe a debt to the state (say, my taxes) and the state allows me to pay with federal reserve notes, the state is making that debt payable in a tender other than gold or silver coin. Article I, section 10 says they can't do that. The founding fathers were well aware of the use of paper money. The continental dollar had become worthless as a result of the inflation caused by the Revolutionary War. They did not want to repeat that mistake.

chicagoans have had the same line of thinking for decades, better to have a crook as mayor because things get done, than have a kook, corruption is all about money and all it did was grow , the corruption and the money,i think the 3 stooges would do a better job,it's just the 3 stooges they put on the ballot every 4 years that can't

The reputable firms that do this have regular independent audits. Sure, fraud is possible. So is fraud in my checking account. Anytime you do anything with your money beyond stuffing it in your mattress you are putting your trust in some sort of financial institution.

    Just don't use MF Global.

  9. If that's true, then we should nominate the guy who will produce the most fireworks against Obama in the debates. Make him defend everything from executive decision on Libya to trying to have his democrat flunky Tom Miller (AG Iowa) sweep the bank fraud under the rug.

Who would be best to make all the points that need to be made on national tv? :D

Ron Paul, problem is that if you dont have a rep or dem in the whitehouse, once the sheep find out they never needed them, how royally they were getting screwed, the parties will be banished, they will never get it back, they will do everything possible to keep Paul out,, they cannot afford the truth or to dismantle all the inroads they have built
