perhaps they believe they are only considered "far right" because the center has moved too much to the left over the last decade or so.

    i might buy that argument.

  2. You mean during the Bush era of supply-side, trickle-down? Foot-dragging on the matter of regulatory reform? Is that too Left for you?

    are you blaming bush again?

besides, regulatory reform under obama hasn't been anything to write home about, and he PROMISED it. in fact, that was the reason i initially supported him.

  4. 1. You're the one who mentioned the "last decade or so." Did you mean someone else?

    2. Might the Party of Hell No have had a hand in that mix? ("If Obama fails, we win." Ring any bells?)

cripes, isn't obvious you have to increase taxes IF you want to keep spending like this?

raise taxes or cut spending, take your pick. I vote cut spending but oh well.

I have another question- why if it is so obvious that taxes must go up haven't the demos made it a priority? why is Obama now saying that extending the Bush tax cuts is necessary to stimulate the economy?

has the irony been lost?? Obama saying we need to extend the Bush policies...
