WASHINGTON - A "very damning" report by the Defense Department's inspector general depicts a Pentagon that purposely manipulated intelligence in an effort to link Saddam Hussein to al-Qaida in the runup to the U.S. invasion of Iraq, says the chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee.

    ......enjoy........

  4. Good point, but not unexpected.

There are a certain percentage of Americans that even if they knew with 100% certainty that Bush was responsible for lying to the American people, would still approve of him.

Nixon, at the low still had a 24% approval rating.

Imagine, 1 out of 4 approved of Nixon, even after knowing about Watergate.

The same type of person is going to approve of Bush no matter what.

Those who already believe that Bush is the worst president ever are just trying to cope with the next 2 years of Bush.

Cheney is Bush's insurance against impeachment....maybe why Bush kept him as running mate in 04...
