Will your current employer allow you to work in an office with traders that aren't also employed by said firm? There are plenty of opportunities to share space in Houston, PM if interested.
Yes, my employer would almost certainly be amenable to me working around others trading for different entities, and I think Houston would likely be a good location for an energy trader to relocate to.
