Have heard some like TD Ameritrade https://www.tdameritrade.com/tools-and-platforms/mobile-trading/td-ameritrade-mobile-trader.page Alerts can be sent via text, email
It's pretty cool actually.. Just need your computer guy to load everything on or you can do it yourself too.
Our mobile app, TT Mobile, is an excellent solution for trading on an iPhone or Android phone. I use it daily as do numerous other traders. Our platform, TT, is highly mobile as well. Grab your MacBook Air and a seat in Starbucks and you'll have the full platform trading experience. https://www.tradingtechnologies.com/blog/2015/06/09/tt-mobile-trading-technologies-tt-platform/ https://www.tradingtechnologies.com/platforms/tt-platform/
I don't have an iPhone nor Android phone, my eyes are shot from looking at screens three decades. I'd need a magnifying glass and half to see that, LOL. I like 17 inch screens too much to get something tiny.
The Microsoft Remote Desktop app actually you can magnify parts of screen.. Here's a test system magnified on iphone.
The system is running on its own with no infrastructure worries. Trial out their base system, won't know till you try it.
I am comfy on equipment I use. I have tried iphones in past, don't like them, they more frustrating to me cause they too small. I have 2-3 charts on one laptop and up to 12 domes on the other, comes down to Iphones won't do the job for me. Opps, thought you were speaking about Iphones, lol I have done remote desktop for years. I am planning on buying a RV Bus and live in that for few years before coming back home. So I have had a broker once in Chicago let me put a server in with them, but always concerned about safety, so this other company sounds better.
I've been using Speedytradingservers for six months now. The reason I use it is my home internet connection is through Sprint (4G usb modem) as that is the only low latency internet available in my location. It used to drop every once in a while so I figured it would be safer. It works great. I haven't looked into using a tablet or phone to trade because I am watching the DOM, two tapes and a footprint chart. I don't think I could see what I need to see on a phone.
