Remote Desktop Question

  1. I have a 3 monitor setup and am looking to go to a 6 monitor setup. I was wondering if there's any way to make remote desktop behave "full screen" on the top row of 3 monitors but leave the native desktop on the bottom row?

I think VMWare had something like this in their full-screen mode in Linux, where my one monitor looked like it was running Windows natively, while the other two were just the usual X setup. I'm wondering if this is possible with remote desktop.

The first link is pretty good, next two may be a little general but it's easy and there is a lot of documentation on it. I've never seen someone just span three monitors like you describe but it's possible I suppose.

I hope whatever you are remoting into is local on a gigabit LAN. If not get ready for L-A-G.
