And the Republicans were all Hey we're cool with that

During her affair with President Donald Trump, ex-Playboy model Karen McDougal claims he compared her to his daughter.

The stunning admission came during her CNN tell-all with Anderson Cooper Thursday, when Cooper asked McDougal whether the president had ever made such comparisons during their relationship.

“You know, he, he’s very proud of Ivanka,” she said. “As he should be. I mean, she’s a brilliant woman. She’s beautiful. She’s, that’s his daughter, and he should be proud of her. He said I was beautiful like her and, you know, you’re a smart girl. And there wasn’t a lot of comparing, but there was some, yeah. I heard a lot about her. Yeah.”

McDougal launched a lawsuit last Tuesday against American Media, Inc. to exit a $150,000 non-disclosure agreement she signed regarding the relationship. She told CNN she feels the contract is illegal.

  2. With Melania tweeting smiling photos of herself with trump on the White House patio , many people are now saying she has become an enabler.

With McDougal and Daniels suing to break confidentiality agreements that they say are shams, it could take years to play out.

Trump, whose spokeswomen have denied he had sex with McDougal or Daniels, has met the latest allegations with near silence. On Thursday, first lady Melania Trump tweeted a photograph of herself with her husband, smiling on a White House patio with the snow-covered South Lawn as their backdrop.

The president retweeted the photo for his 49 million followers.

It was as close as Trump would get to responding to the growing public-relations mess of multiple sex scandals.

"Having them together in these photogenic moments is important," said political scientist Terry Madonna of Pennsylvania's Franklin & Marshall College.

  3. Fox News is now distancing themselves from sexual predator Bill O'Reilly as some of his accusers want out of their nondisclosure agreements.

Fox News uses Trumpian legal tactics to keep Bill O’Reilly’s accusers quiet

Fox News is distancing itself from its former tentpole personality, Bill O'Reilly, as some of his harassment accusers now want out of their nondisclosure agreements.

The New York Times reported in April that Fox News doled out a total of $13 million in settlements to five women who had accused the "O'Reilly Factor" host of "sexual harassment or other inappropriate behavior."

After O'Reilly told the Times he's "vulnerable to lawsuits from individuals who want me to pay them to avoid negative publicity," three of the women-Rachel Witlieb Bernstein, Andrea Mackris and Rebecca Gomez Diamond-filed a defamation suit against O'Reilly and the network in December.

A motion filed on Tuesday by Fox News's legal team argues that O'Reilly, who was "dismissed" shortly after the Times investigation, "was no longer acting in the course of his employment," and so the network "cannot be vicariously liable."

"Nor can Fox be liable for O'Reilly's limited statements prior to his firing," the motion continues, "because those statements were made to advance his personal interests, not those of Fox News."

O'Reilly's baggage is not unlike that of Donald Trump, who's now facing three potentially damning lawsuits regarding alleged extramarital affairs and harassment.

Citing Clinton v. Jones-the Supreme Court ruling that set the legal precedent for former President Bill Clinton's impeachment-New York Supreme Court Justice Jennifer G. Schecter on Tuesday allowed a defamation lawsuit against Trump filed by former "Apprentice" contestant Summer Zervos to proceed.

Also on Tuesday, former Playboy playmate Karen McDougal filed a defamation suit against tabloid magazine The National Enquirer in an effort to nullify an agreement she signed to keep quiet about the affair she says she had with Trump a decade ago. Similarly, adult film actress Stormy Daniels claims Trump never signed a $130,000 "hush agreement" to hide their decade-long affair.

  6. Tennessee religious leader quits after he allegedly masturbated in front of a black female employee

The leader of a partner ministry of the Episcopal Diocese of Tennessee resigned after an employee claimed he masturbated in front of her and the organization covered-up the repeated sexual and racial harassment.

James Finchum, the former executive director of Matthew 25, an organization helping homeless men, resigned in February, the Tennessean reported.

Further information was revealed in a federal lawsuit filed by “Jane Doe” against Finchum and Matthew 25.

The lawsuit claimed that in December of 2016, Finchum summoned the employee into his office, started to massage her after which he “grabbed Plaintiff’s hand and placed it on his groin area, through his pants.”

“He then unzipped his pants, exposed his penis to Plaintiff and masturbated in front of her,” the lawsuit claims.

The lawsuit also alleges that in April of 2016, Finchum “approached Plaintiff from behind and held himself against her buttocks and hunched against her until his pants became wet.”

The employee, who is black, also alleged racial discrimination.

“White employees were not subjected to the type of assault and battery Plaintiff was,” the lawsuit alleged. “Defendant Finchum made references to Plaintiff’s race in the context of his harassment directed toward Plaintiff.”

The organization has denied the allegations.

“Matthew 25 has been sensitive to and supportive of the complaining employee, who remains in her position today,” Matthew 25’s attorney Tracy M. Lujan said in a statement. “Matthew 25 has a strong anti-harassment policy. It takes employee complaints very seriously, and it is committed to supporting all of its staff members.”

Metro police have also have an active investigation into Finchum.

Yes -- James Finchum, the former head of YMCA organizations in several states, who is a Democratic donor did this.

Why are you making an issue of it on this thread?
