Doc I remember them hanging Saddam. He seemed like a pretty bad actor having gassed the Kurds and he was shooting at our folks patrolling the no-fly zone. I guess they thought they needed more than that and fabricated the WMD thing. I will never understand that, it was unecessary and totally destructive to their cause. They wanted regime change, they shoulda just said that. It was a good enough reason.

There are bad actors are over the world. Plus we had such air superiority in Iraq every time they went SAM lock we blew them off the map. And of course all that was fabricated bullshit in Iraq. However the point is as you brought up is Bush screwed the pooch in Afghanistan by neglect. And we're not likely to ever gain the initiative again.
