Sure. Ok, here is an example. Every week in the synagogue there is a Torah reading and a Haftorah reading. The Haftorah reading is from the books of the Prophets. The most obvious portrait of the Messiah in Isaiah 53 is missing from the Haftorah readings for the year. This may or may not be by design. Who knows? But the implication is that millions of Jews (my step brothers) around the world will never hear this passage. Hell, if they had accepted Jesus (the Jewish one), we'd all be celebrating Passover, Hanukkah and Purim, etc, as well as them not having to worry if they'd make it through the high holidays. Yom Kippur was paid for. But there is hope ...
If Isaiah wrote the book of Isaiah, what he didn't do was give a name of the coming Messiah. As well it took 7 centuries for that to be fulfilled. That's a loooong time. As well 7 centuries handing down written records is a long stretch for those records to be original, considering we are talking about a culture 3000 years ago. So christians today, believe 100% a story made 3000 years ago, but now we are getting problems because of translations and originality. Anyhow, if the prophet Isaiah wrote the prophecy, and he was Jewish, and the Jews have been safekeepers of the documents, how is it the Jews deny the christian version of the Messiah? Wouldn't the Jews who are originators know what Jews wrote to mean?
But then let me go on..... Jesus was meant to be of lineage of Solomon and King David. Joseph was according to the bible of that lineage, but Jesus was born of a virgin (Mary) who was not of the lineage, as well Mary was engaged, not married to Joseph. How can jesus be of Solomon and David when Mary was not, and neither married to it?
"Anyhow, if the prophet Isaiah wrote the prophecy, and he was Jewish, and the Jews have been safekeepers of the documents, how is it the Jews deny the christian version of the Messiah?" How would they know if they have not heard it? "How can jesus be of Solomon and David when Mary was not?" Biblically, lineage goes through the father. Rabinically, it goes through the mother. Go figure.
Isaiah a Jew wrote about a messiah with no name. Jesus comes along 700 years later born of an alleged virgin who is not of the Davidian tree. Long after jesus death christians then take credit for the jewish writings of Isaiah while jews proclaim the christians are talking nonsense. Modern day christians are 100% convinced the spurious texts of several thousand years ago are 100% legit because the church founded on emotionalism and theatrics says so. Go figure!
Remarkably people still believe this nonsense but then gummints peddle this shit to their sheeple and sheeple lap it up.
