Relocating to a new country to trade. Where do I go?

Thanks for the contributions, good people.

I could not edit the 1st post, but for me, tax is of no concern at this point in time. I will pay tax to my native country as I'll be living on a tourist visum.

Sadly, cost of living is still a concern and in this phase of my trading career, it would be beneficial to keep it as low as possible. I live in Scandinavia, so I imagine there's many countries or cities that should be at least a bit cheaper than where I currently reside.

Since he is still paying tax to Uncle Sam, it is irrelevant...

Edit: OK, I see he is from Scandinavia. Would have been nice to share it in the OP.

He will go as a tourist for a limited time so he can go anyplace that will give him a tourist visa for 2-3 months. So that gives almost the whole world to choose from as destination.

How about the US? Good standard of living, cheaper cost of living, and lots of internal places to see.

I think the idea is to have a favorable tax advantage. Isle of man comes to mind. Monaco too?

Absolutely. Can you be more specific?

I love the US, but I think the cost of living is too high at my desired locations at this point. That's not to say there aren't other great alternatives, so please feel free to share.

While not my number one option, I've heard people say Las Vegas have a fairly low cost of living.

I tried updating the OP, but too late to edit it. At this point in time, tax isn't an issue. Should I succeed with this, tax planning and even permanently expatratiating will be considered, but I have a way to go before I'm there.
