Religion is a hypothesis.

  1. that is understandable. if evidence has no bearing in you coming to your emotional beliefs lack of evidence probably will have no ability to change your mind.
the correct terminology for your condition is willfull ignorance.

Not at all true. I have to acccount for the evidence, and the evidence is that a lot of people, and for a very long time, have had a religious feeling. Like religion or not, believe in religion or not, I have to accept that.

  5. Christs sake, are we back to that. It's already been established that the "EVIDENCE" is highly subjective and not always reliable. Talk about willful ignorance. Get past your hate for organized religion and maybe you'll see something. Until then, you're blind. You get corn holed as an alter boy or something? I mean really, you're just being contrary for the sake of being contrary.

Evidence, as defined by science, has of course some subjectivity to it still, but I don't believe it's fair to say "highly subjective". I think we've done a pretty good job, within the context of survival utility, of creating objectivity.

  7. Completely false within the context of this thread no atheist or "non believer" has even suggested 1 event , discovery or condition that would be acceptable to themselves as evidence for a creator or "God".

That unwillingness should tell you something, and it's not about open honest inquiry.

  8. Most assuredly part of the problem is personal anger as previously discussed by myself way back on pg 80.
