The description of "god" you quoted is the description of a "personal god" of the west. The God of Abraham. Indeed half the world's view of the god is the "non-personal", transcendental, "god-within". This is the god of nature, infinity. Denying this is idiotic hence I have usually nothing to say to idiots who claim to be "atheist" yet I understand their disdain from the west's personal god which is equal to their idiocy. How can you claim Infinity does not exist?

“I died as a mineral and became a plant,
I died as plant and rose to animal,
I died as animal and I was Man.
Why should I fear? When was I less by dying?” Rumi

Change the word "creation" to "emanation" and it all makes sense. There is no Creator, as nothing was ever created.....do you think god is a cobbler?

Actually over half the theists in the world are now Abrahamists (Jews, Christians and Muslims). And how can you claim a physical Infinity does exist? I've never seen an actual infinity anywhere outside of mathematics. Perhaps you're not as free from idiocy as you presume.

    Definition of infinity:

    1. the quality or state of being infinite.
    2. something that is infinite.
    3. infinite space, time, or quantity.
    4. an infinite extent, amount, or number.
    5. an indefinitely great amount or number.
    6. Mathematics. a. the assumed limit of a sequence, series, etc., that increases without bound.
    b. infinite distance or an infinitely distant part of space.

Note that the only definition which allows for "inifinity" to be used on its own is 6. For other definitions, a qualifier is required in context i.e. time, space, distance.
As for the mathematical definition, this is an abstract concept, so to say that "infinity" exists makes no sense, other than in an abstract manner.
Even if you were to qualify the context, with space and time - you would be wrong given the available evidence. The evidence namely being that the Universe has large bounds (14 to 16 billion light years) but is not infinite.
Nothing in our Universe is infinite, apart from the stupidity of religious bigots.

  9. Is the universe physical?

    Yes.

Is there a limit to the universe?
Has an end of the universe been found?

    No.

Therefore the universe is a physical infinity.

Of course you can't see it because you are within it, just as a tree can't actually see the forest...

p.s. It is impossible to see a physical infinity in mathematics. Can't really believe you are that dense...unless you are counting the mind's eye as seeing, but you don't seem much like the insight type.

  10. "Nothing in our Universe is infinite, apart from the stupidity of religious bigots."

Is no thing that is within an infinite field itself also infinite?
