Religion is a hypothesis.

  1. Typical western atheistic comments, grounded in Judeo Christian concepts of good and evil, yet denies the concept of God...and like a child demands that God be understandable and fair on his own childish level...

  2. I decided years ago that where the Creator "came from" is beyond Human comprehension and I don't worry about it any more. Its beyond comprehension because it's impossible for Humans to imagine what it would be like to be outside of time and space. I use to think about it a lot but just decided that there is some aspect of reality that unknown to us. The Flatland example is the best I can do to relate to it.

Since time is a property of the Universe I guess you can say that the Universe has always existed.

Typical sophistry from a muddleheaded believer insisting that his "incomprehensible" imaginary tyrant be worshipped and obeyed regardless of mixed messages and rampant illogic.

  7. 1) Hardly
    2) I'm not the one confused.
3a) The unwillingness you cite is consciousness specific.
3b) Viewing the situation as an adversarial one is childish and immature born of ignorance.

    4) Put a human face on God and you get
    Jesus Christ.

    5) Because your capacity to see is so limited.

No, I believe in evidence. And the evidence leads where it leads, regardless of whether it is immediately comprehensible to the typical human experience. You insist on referring to the Big Bang theory as "magic" because you want to drag it down to the level of your supernatural sky fairy, the king of all magic (talking snakes, magical fruit, water into wine, yada yada yada).

It doesn't work, dude. Just because YOU don't understand something, that doesn't make it "magic." That just makes you ignorant. No crime in being ignorant unless you insist everybody else "admit" they're just as ignorant as you are. Then that makes you stupid.
