  1. Considering the only point you have is that pointy little head of yours ,one wonders why you bother except as entertainment for the rest of us.

He did no such thing. It's entirely possible to have a universe that expands and contracts repeatedly, and we just happen to be in an expansion phase.

It really is hard to think outside the box when you're mired in superstition.

  3. "It's entirely possible..."

Shall there be a list of everything "entirely possible" then throw a dart at the list, where it lands on the "Big Bang Theory" and then claiming:

    "EUREKA...IT WAS A BIG BANG!!!"

What's really funny is how you keep trying to turn the Big Bang theory into something analogous to your sky fairy worship.

I don't know anybody who's going to lose it if tomorrow the Big Bang theory was replaced by something better, based on new information. Can you say the same for your fact-free belief system, in which you're required to invest so much of your life?

"One of the saddest lessons of history is this: If we've been bamboozled long enough, we tend to reject any evidence of the bamboozle. We're no longer interested in finding out the truth. The bamboozle has captured us. It is simply too painful to acknowledge -- even to ourselves -- that we've been so credulous. (So the old bamboozles tend to persist as the new bamboozles rise.)"

  5. Man, do you have anything better than a quote from Sagan to defend yourself?

    LOL!!!

Don't you know there are "billions and billions" of better quotes...

    Too damn funny...

In any case, you are making a fool of yourself and doing nothing at all to discount the equal possibility that intelligent design was behind a so called "big bang" or any other so called "scientific" wild guess...

It's been discounted repeatedly in this thread already.

There are none so blind as those who refuse to see, and none so deaf as those who refuse to hear.

Ignorance and stupidity are two different things, unless the adjective "willful" applies. Willful ignorance is exactly the same as willful stupidity. You, sir, are willfully ignorant.

    Quote from Index piker:
Nice argument for intelligent design amongst reinventing Hinduism and Buddhism amongst others.

Like I said you fools are too funny for words.
