  1. daniel_m,

That's pretty funny. See, by thinking that my intention for posting that was to be profound, you are exhibiting to me that you are insecure. People will often reflect off other's what is held within themselves.

(i.e. Girl walks around mall, "Oh god, look at her dress! How ugly! Oh my god, look at those shoes!! They are hideous!" -- conclusion about this girl, "She is overly self-conscious about herself and her appearance).

    Gotcha Danny Boy!!!

  3. yeah, the atheists seem to be winning this one with logic and semantics. HOWEVER--- any omnipotent being would by defination exist outside of logical/semantical boundaries rendering all such arguments mute. in addition, some concepts in higher mathmatics and quantum physics exist outside of the classical logical framework--- imaginary numbers, et al. logic and semantics are not the end all in the realm of being.

    enjoy !

  4. that's what atheists have been saying all along - that the concept of god as it's advertised by theists is simply incomprehensible!
therefore, the theist must show how he came to gain knowledge of that which is inherently unknowABLE!

ie, given that such a god's nature is unknowable, how does the theist KNOW that he is omnipotent?

furthermore, the concept of omnipotence is a completely human construct that simply does not need to exist anywhere in the universe!

  5. The latter part of your statement is very significant. However, some of the highest concepts you refer to do lie in advanced mathematical framework, but could never be reduced to silly word games!

  7. The lord said, " My thoughts are not your thoughts and my ways are not your ways, for they are greater". He also told many of his apostles to "go and preach the gospel to the people for they are rebellious. They have turn their backs on their God and there is no other God besides him. Moreover, even though most people won't listen, still tell them of what their(God) has said". God has said what people will do with the word, and I'm witnessing it right now.
