  1. nah, Dark's a patsy... I've reeled in some monsters dude. Monsters that had ME scrambling to cover my bases..
I'm just waiting for dark to bring out his big guns...and let me take a shot at knocking them off. (I think he's scared to, don't you?)

(don't worry about trying to understand that crap he's posted so far...it would never win points in a formal debate...it's pure evasion.)

  4. i'm gonna pull out all stops on this and you theists better be ready. And i am not gonna tolerate irrational arguments or bible quotes or implicit assumptions that are glossed over as though they are established fact or any other such nonsense.

i am deadly serious here and i won't put up with BS!

first off, thunderbolt you are gonna have to begin to argue rationally. do you understand what that means? i am not gonna waste my time on you if you chose to respond like a southern baptist preacher with an IQ of 80. OK? you are gonna have to bring it up a few notches. let's get real here.

    also,

dark, you are going to have to bring it down a few notches. seriously, i don't know whether you are so superior that i can't follow your argument , OR that you are a crank. usually i can tell, but in your case i am not sure - YET! if you are the former, then i am disappointed. frankly i don't get and have never got much out of your posts. a tid bit here and a tid bit
there but not much else. now i have met and talked with men that have far superior intellect and erudition than myself and i usually recognize this at the outset and learn a great deal. with you i have learned very little (as i said occasional tid bit but essentially nothing). this troubles me and makes me suspect that you are nothing but a crank. but i will reserve my opinion of you until you respond to this. (and paaaaleease don't give me the usual crap a crank dishes out like "i don't have to convice you of anything blah blah blah, i expect more from you and it will not sit well with me if you seek that pitiful refuge)

OK theists & creationists get you thinking hats on and prepare for WAR!! haha!

Firts off, lets assume for the sake of argument that a supreme being does exist and that he goes by the name of CHRIST. I have a serious problem with HIS morality. HE believed in HELL. How can any person who is profoundly humane believe in everlasting punishment?

CHRIST DID!!! AND HE EXHIBITES A VINDICTIVE FURY AGAINST AGAINST THOSE THAT DID NOT LISTEN TO HIS WORD!!

HE said and I quote: "Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of Hell!"

That was said to people who did not like HIS preaching. Nice guy, huh?

HE went on to say: "Whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven him neither in this World nor in the world to come!"

These words have caused unspeakable misery for all those who have imagined that they have committed the sin against the Holy Ghost and thought they would not be forgiven them either in this world or in the world to come. What kind of of a person/being would instill this degree of fear and terror in HIS subjects??

Then Christ says: "The Son of Man shall send forth his His angels, and they shall gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity, and shall cast them into a furnace of fire; there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth!"

    OUCH!!!

What a wonderful kind being HE is. NOT!

One verse after another it is quite obvious to the reader that there is a certain pleasure in contemplating wailing and gnashing of teeth!

And do you recall the sheep and goats, how at the second coming HE is going to seperate thye sheep from the goats and he is going to say to the goats :"Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire." HE continues, "And these shall go away into everlasting fire." Then HE says again, "If thy hand offend thee, cut it off; it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into Hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched; where the worm dieth not and the fire is not quenched."

He repeats this AGAIN & AGAIN!!!

IS THIS NOT A DOCTRINE OF CRUELTY??!!

Don't forget for a minute, HE is omnipotent. Right?? HE and HE alone could make the devils go away! Recall the Gadarene swine, do you?? HE put devils in the poor creatures and made them rush down the hill into the sea. Nice "guy" this god of yours!

This is just the beginning! I plan on exposing HIM for what HE is! stay tuned for more! :-/

  6. babak, you are committing a fallacy with this position.

You must be a TRUE believer in his word NOT a feigned belief or a mere "mouthing" of the words "I believe" because you fear the consequences of non-belief (ie eternal damnation) and you wish to "hedge your bet." :-/

  7. >>Do you realize what the implications of man having free will are?
It means that your God cannot be all-knowing, as you claim he is.
If God is all-knowing, it means he knows exactly what I am going to do next - that is totally incompatible with the concept of free will! If God knows what I'm gonna do in my life, it means I am nothing but a mindless robot. In which case, why does God even bother sending Jesus to save us - he already knows what we are going to do! It means he basically created me, knew I what I would do (reject him) and then throws me into hell for it!

You have totally evaded any of the accusations against your God thus far, but surely even you cannot fail to see that free will and an all-knowing God cannot possibly co-exist!<<

First of all, OUR GOD is all knowing and thus is far superior intellectually than any person or spirit to have ever lived or existed. Einstein would look mentally dysfunctional when compared to GOD. You are trying to comprehend matters of GOD with your puny mind--it's impossible. Have you ever thought that maybe there are other dimensions to life that you know nothing of or could even understand. How can you have the audacity to question him and his doings? Where were you when he laid the foundation of the earth? He will not entertain man's provocation. Once again, until you humble thyself before thy GOD, you will be like that wave in the sea.

  8. >>First of all, OUR GOD is all knowing and thus is far superior intellectually than any person or spirit to have ever lived or existed.

    Proof please?

    >>Einstein would look mentally dysfunctional when compared to GOD. You are trying to comprehend matters of GOD with your puny mind--it's impossible.

And what is it that YOU are doing if not trying to comprehend His word?

    >>Have you ever thought that maybe there are other dimensions to life that you know nothing of or could even understand.

    And YOU do???? ha!

Yes I have, and so have others -- theoretical physicists. whats the point?

    >>How can you have the audacity to question him and his doings?

How can YOU have the audacity to believe in HIm when such belief is clearly irrational? are you a monkey?

    >>Where were you when he laid the foundation of the earth?

    sleeping:)

    >>He will not entertain man's provocation. Once again, until you humble thyself before thy GOD, you will be like that wave in the sea.

i like the sea. and i like waves. :)

seriously, you have to do better than this. a lot better.

where is your rebuttal to the argument i posted above? can't hack it?? your god would be disappointed in you. you make a very poor advocate. :-/

  9. Faster,

Thanks for your comment regarding me. Like I have said before, I take pride in my stern beliefs.

Regarding your attack on the Son of Man, you have selectively chosen parts of his words that offend you. Without going into detail about Christ and his purpose(hopefully most of you already know), I must say that damnation is from disobedience(goats). Doing what's good for you and the hell with everyone else. Did you know that a starving child in Ethiopia is your brother? You are sitting there choosing to deny God and not live as you are commanded. Jesus first came to show man "how to live before their God". He shows the love, mercy, kindness and compassion of God. His life was a model for all to live by. He tells and shows what your rewards are for obedience. He laid it all out in his life and in scripture. He loved a prostitute in remorse when others wanted to stone her. "ye without sin cast the first stone". He raised the dead, healed the sick, gave sight to the blind and gave strength to the weak. He knows that if we ALL do the things he and the father have set forth, we would have no problems--ZERO. However, man has chosen to do his own selfish will and ignore God and his commands. Therefore, as in life, there are consequences for your disobedience to God. Jesus and other prophets have come to warn--take heed or your out come is as you have stated. It doesn't have to be that way for anyone--you have a choose. Our God is a God of Love, Mercy, Righteousness and Judgement. It's his world, and that's that.
