I just looked at the mirror and screamed! Ugh - I turned 40 today. nitro <--- this guy is a pretty good representation of the amount of hair I have left.
Thanks for correcting the typo in my quote. Wow, that settles that argument! Whew! By the way, the following was your post before that: "axeman, nitro, gg, i missed the boat, You people have no morals because you believe there's no God. End of story. You can't give me scientific evidence of where morals come from since there's no God. WHERE DO MORALS COME FROM! Explain! Take a look at yourselves in the mirror, pretty sad isn't it? You all come up with these of the wall rebuttals to real questions because you all are basically weak human beings. You have found liberation in your denial of a God, that's why you choose that lifestyle." That's "off" the wall, not of the wall. Different word, different meaning. And one other question, WHAT IN THE WORLD DO YOU TRADE??
Cool. This confirms it. Your professional claims are as outlandish as your religious and debating claims.
Not at all true. There is ample evidence. The Learning Channel has had shows about the myriad archeological and historical evidence. There have been articles as well. Meanwhile, I did read one article claiming what you did, that slavery didn't happen. That article, however, was full of errors about the archeology and history, and proved to be very erroneous!
The bible is proof enough for me. I don't need any additional proof or evidence. I start with the premise that the bible contains a record of actual events that took place. I guess if you come at the issue with the idea that that nothing in the bible actually happened unless you find some physical evidence then you think anyone who says otherwise is naive. I have to ask you, do you doubt everything unless you have evidence or does this only apply to religion?
Which is it, there is no purpose to life or life's purpose is the propogation of the species and man's happiness? And here I'd been led to believe that the meaning of life was 42.
" I start with the premise that the bible contains a record of actual events that took place. " There's the problem. "I have to ask you, do you doubt everything unless you have evidence or does this only apply to religion? " Yes I doubt everything. And the amount of evidence required for me is directly proportional to the magnitude of the claim being made. "god" being the biggest claim, Im aware of, would require the most evidence for me to believe. peace axeman
